Comintern representative,
Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Economic Council, arrested late
1937, and disappeared
Amagayev
worked at different high-ranking posts in the Buryat Mongolian
Autonomous Oblast. In 1925 he went to Ulaanbaatar as a Comintern
representative and was appointed Minister of Finance and Chairman of
the Economic Council of the MPR. In 1931 Amagayev himself was
recalled to Moskow. He was executed in 1937.
